When it comes to pool surface repair, there a three types. The most common is pool plaster repair. Then you have fiberglass pool repair and pebble pool repair. All of these have similar issues. They will have rust spots that are caused by rebar. Rebar is used during the construction of the swimming pool. It is used to reinforce the concrete structure. The next is cracks in the surface. This type of pool surface repair is due to shifting in the ground. That can be from a natural occurrence or excessive moisture in the soil. And then there is blistering. This is usually seen more with fiberglass pool repair but does happen to plaster. They are both due to separation from the underlying concrete shell. You may also experience sections of your pool surface that fall off. This is also due to separation from the concrete.
